Indispensable? Invaluable? Unique?

The continuing chronicle of the British stage

Established in 1981, Theatre Record has probably the most influential readership of any theatre publication in the UK. It reprints in full all the national drama critics' reviews of productions in and out of London, with full casts and credits. It carries early information on plans for shows all over the country. It is kept for years as an essential reference.

Theatre Record is read - and regularly consulted - by major practitioners: theatres and their administrators, companies and their directors, agents and their clients. It is read by the critics themselves and their entertainments editors. It goes to all major organisations working for the theatre industry. In addition, its circulation to drama schools, colleges and universities makes it available to the industry's next generation.

Through our Library subscribers Theatre Record also reaches a wide readership among the general public and, because it forms an archive resource, remains in the public eye far longer than other journals.

The readership of Theatre Record is not confined to Britain. It is widely read at the same high levels in Europe and the US, in Israel and Japan, Australia and New Zealand - in fact in most countries of the world.
