Wendy Wasserstein
(Born 18 October, 1950) is an award-winning American playwright. Born in Brooklyn, New York, she is the sister of Bruce Wasserstein. She obtained a BA in History from Mount Holyoke college in 1971. She won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama for her 1988 play The Heidi Chronicles.
